If you’re looking for a nice room to rent in Turin, you’re in the right place 🙂
Below, I will try to tell you all the informations you need, to help you understand if the accommodation I have to offer you is what you are looking for and if it coud fit to your needs. I’ll try to tell you everything and I’m sure that with a bit of imagination, through this “virtual tour”, you’ll be looking forward to moving here 😉

✅ THE ROOMS

As you can see from the photos, the rooms are big and spacious, very bright and are fully furnished with everything you need. Inside you will find: – a comfortable bed (single or double depending on the room), a bedside table with abat-jour, – a nice wardrobe, – a mirror – a desk with a chair – Amazon Alexa. The apartment faces south so it is very bright and our rooms are “kissed by the sun” all day long. Everything is ready for you and you have everything to feel at home. The bed has an orthopedic mattress and two comfortable pillows to allow you to sleep as comfortably as possible. When you arrive, your bed will be ready and in the closet you will find a second set of sheets and blankets that you can use as you wish during your stay. Your room is your kingdom, so if your friend or parents come to visit you for the weekend, you can easily host them with you.

✅ THE APARTMENT

Your room is located in a large apartment of about 100 square meters in total, in via Martiniana, 17. In total there are 4 bedrooms (therefore you will have 3 roommates), a beautiful equipped kitchen and a bathroom. As soon as you enter the house, you will be greeted by a large and bright entrance with an open kitchen, which is furnished and equipped with everything you need: a large fridge with freezer, a table with chairs and, of course, a sink and stove for cooking . Dishes, glasses, cutlery and pots are at your disposal, as well as a microwave oven, an Italian-style coffee maker, a kettle, an oven, fridge, etc. You can hang your laundry on the common drying rack or, if you prefer, you can use one of the drying racks located next to the pantry and bring your laundry to your room or on the terrace. The bathroom is very comfortable, clean and fully functional.

✅ THE BUILDING

The condominium is very quiet and peaceful. It is mainly inhabited by families and students. If when you are at home you have to study and concentrate or you want to relax a bit, you are in the right place!

✅ THE AREA

Borgo San Paolo is an ideal strategic point to reach the center in a few minutes and live in a lively area with a high quality of life.
The area is located south of Corso Francia, a primary road artery, under which there are numerous metro stations. In the area there are also the metro stations of Porta Susa and XVIII December.
Borgo San Paolo is at the gates of the city center and well connected with extra-urban points of interest, such as the Turin Caselle Sandro Pertini Airport, reachable thanks to the bus that terminates at the bus terminal in Corso Vittorio Emanuele.

The area is ideal for students and workers, because it is perfect for being connected to both the professional and academic opportunities of the neighborhood and the rest of Turin. The university center of Agriculture and Veterinary, located in Grugliasco, on the border with the Pozzo Strada district, can be easily reached by underground and bus. Furthermore, the San Paolo district is very close to the Polytechnic of Turin.

The whole neighborhood is full of activities, services, clubs, restaurants, bars, pubs and shops. There are many supermarkets nearby, including (less than 5 minutes on foot) the Pam, which is open every day, even on Sundays, from 8:00 to 21:00, but there are also many other supermarkets very close to the flat.

✅ HOUSE RULES, CONTRACTUAL SERVICES AND BORING THINGS

– Heating

The heating is centralized and is managed by the condominium. The house is warm in winter and cool in summer, so you don’t have to worry about anything.

– Wifi

The internet connection is wi-fi and the signal is fast and perfect in every room

– General services and invoices

The costs of heating, electricity, gas, water, condominium and maintenance, the concierge service are ALL INCLUDED in the monthly price! You don’t have to worry about anything and I don’t ask you to pay anything besides the room price. If you want to host someone in your room, feel free. You MUST tell me who is coming and for how long, but you won’t pay me any extra cost! As I said before, your room is YOUR kingdom.

– Contract

The type of contract we sign and the cost of its registration vary according to your needs, which we can certainly discuss before your arrival. The cost of registration varies according to the duration and is required by law within 30 days from the day of the start of the stay. You won’t have to worry about anything, because I will do everything for you, without charging you any additional cost!
To make you understand how anything can happen, here is the example of “James”: James is an Australian student who comes to study at the Polytechnic of Turin for 6 months. After a few messages between me and him, James books his room. After that, we exchange some emails with everything I need to fill in all the bureaucracy (identity document, residence permit / visa, tax code provided by the University and payment of the deposit) On the day of check-in, I go to welcome James into the apartment and, after showing his room, we sign the contract I have already prepared (2 copies: one for him and one for me) and everything is done

I know how it feels to start an adventure in a new city: there is so much adrenaline, but there are also many doubts and it is often difficult to find someone who, from afar, can help us take all the right steps and take them concretely in a serene way.
